Marketing & Development Associate

Job Description:

MaXentric Technologies, LLC has a Marketing & Development Associate position available at our San Diego office located in the beautiful coastal area of La Jolla.

We are searching for a candidate with a BA/BS in a related field that can develop marketing and sales strategies and collateral to keep the company brand propelling forward with the marketing of existing products while also collaborating to build the identity of new products that are in the process of being developed.

We are looking for someone who is energetic and engaging to be a part of our growing team and is passionate about how technological innovation has changed the world around us. We are looking for candidates who are organized, think with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset and can take initiative to take projects from concept to completion.

This is not a remote position due to the collaborative nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

Creatively and collaboratively conceptualizing collateral like pitch decks, flyers, logo develop etc. either solo or working with a third party. This position will use their keen eye along with design and computer applications to create, collaborate, and review final designs and layouts of visual material by suggesting improvements and modify formats to increase the quality of production and ensure brand guidelines are met. Additional technical duties may include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, resizing, and formatting of graphics or documents in Adobe or similar programs.

Researching new opportunities or strengthening current efforts for marketing or sales of existing products, upcoming technologies, or brand awareness.

Assistance in proposal creation to aid in proof of concept or commercialization plans.

Some executive assistant style tasks may be requested sparingly.

Manage internal Creative Services assets, including image/file cataloging, archiving, backup system, and post final files to the server.

Work with other groups within the company to develop materials, ad hoc requests as needed.

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

Design skills on any platform – Preferred proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite-InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft programs.

Conceptual abilities in both the creative and logical presentation of ideas and messages. Maintains a fresh creative sense: ability to develop creative concepts and a keen eye for detail.

A capable creative/marketing writer with a thorough command of the English language, including style, grammar, spelling.

Manage workflow to accommodate working on more than one project at any given time, complete all projects on time, within budget, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Ability to work quickly and accurately with special attention to detail.

Ability to work under deadlines and as part of a cross-functional team.

Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of professional experience in business development is desired.

Conceptual understanding of graphic presentations and marketing a plus.

Experience with formatting and editing documents with a deep knowledge of grammar and language.

Overall, we are looking for energetic candidates who are innovative, curiosity-driven, willing to explore new ideas, and are strong team players with excellent communication skills.

NOTE: Due to the nature of our work with the U.S. Government, U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

Good Faith Pay Range: $50,000- $80,000 per year This range represents the good faith estimate of the salary MaXentric reasonably expects to pay for this position upon official hire. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s specific skills, experience, and geographic location.

Total Compensation: This role is eligible for Annual Performance Bonuses and Phantom Stock options

Retirement: 401(k) plan

Time Off: 152 hours of PTO per year and California-compliant sick leave.
