Once a Bruin, Always a Bruin!

For robust access to resources as an alumni, connect directly with the UCLA Alumni Association. Wherever you are in life or the world, the UCLA Alumni Association provides the bridge back to UCLA by offering alumni scholarships, career programming, counseling, lifelong learning opportunities and connecting you to Bruin networks worldwide. Some of our favorite resources include the Alumni Career Education, UCLA ONE, and the Alumni Mentorship Program.

The UCLA Career Center caters its resources and services to currently enrolled students but alumni can still navigate through our online resources. The section below outlines a few of the resources you can still access through our center.

Graduating is a big step —and what comes next can feel uncertain. The Real Talk for New Grads Summer Series offers open, discussion-based sessions for recent UCLA grads navigating life after college. These conversations are a space to connect with fellow Bruins, share your experiences, and gain insights from career professionals and peers alike. Whether you’re job hunting, considering grad school, or exploring new paths, you’re not alone. Join us for real talk, practical advice, and a supportive community.

Summer 2026 Sessions: TBD

As a recent UCLA undergraduate Alumni, you have 3 months of continued access to all UCLA Career Cener services, which includes career advising appointments, accessing 15-minute drop-ins and attending our workshops and fairs. All services can be accessed through Handshake.

  • Your 3 months full access will begin after your graduation date. If you graduate in August, your services will continue until November.
  • After this 3-month period of full access, you will be granted an additional year of Handshake with limited services. See Handshake section for more information.

You are automatically granted 3 months of full access to Handshake, and then an additional year of limited access.

  • 3-months of full access includes access to drop ins, counseling appointments, events, career fairs, and job and internship opportunities.
  • 1-year limited access only includes access to certain events and job and internship opportunities. Handshake will automatically adjust your features during this period.
  • Once the free 1-year subscription ends, you will have the opportunity to continue renewing your Handshake account for $30 every 6 months. This renewal will only be a limited access version.
