Job Description

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to be a part of the television industry? BrandStar Entertainment is currently seeking passionate individuals interested in the television and entertainment fields to join us as Booking Producers. In this role, individuals will be trained to identify and secure Brand Participants for BrandStar’s original television shows, which are broadcast nationally on cable networks.

Playing a vital role within our programming department, the Booking Producer is responsible for creating engaging storylines aligned with each show’s theme and signing nationally recognized brands, including Fortune 500 companies, to participate in show segments.

Prior sales or fundraising experience a plus.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Contact and interview decision makers at local businesses to qualify potential show participants in target locations and industries.
  • Share approved content ideas for show segments with decision makers and gauge interest in participating.
  • Research appropriate brands or guests for BrandStar Original shows. Identify appropriate decision makers.
  • Qualify brands for potential fit with overall show theme and specific show segments.
  • Develop segment concepts that align with show theme, areas of interest, and editorial calendar. Seek interesting stories that meet the needs of the target viewing audiences.
  • Present partnership opportunity and funding requirements to decision makers and/or corporate executives. Secure brand participants for programming.
  • Meet weekly and monthly KPIs (key performance indicators) related to new story ideas and secured brand participants.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Creative abilities needed to develop stories for BrandStar show properties.
  • Prior sales or fundraising experience plus.
  • Possess a passion for the television and entertainment industry.
  • Must be creative, hard-working, and entrepreneurial-minded.
  • Computer proficient with intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to use AI prompts to assist with ideation and research.
  • Must be coachable and flexible.
