Tenants Law Firm is a fast-growing, mission-driven organization dedicated to advocating for tenants’ rights and providing legal support against unlawful housing practices. We work to ensure that individuals and families have access to safe and stable housing through legal representation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Accounting Intern to support our accounting team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
- Organize and maintain digital financial records
- Support the accounting team with various administrative and clerical tasks
- Assist with generating reports as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Experience or coursework in QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
