Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform calculations for various aspects of concrete and steel building design
  • BIM modelling, data entry, assistance with preparation of construction plans and specifications
  • Researching various building code topics
  • Providing support to other groups within SDL as business needs dictate

Qualifications:

  • Current Civil Engineering graduate student or undergraduate (minimum Junior) in good standing at accredited university with an interest in structures
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of structural engineering
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and basic AutoCAD/Revit skills or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with structurally engineering design and analysis software a plus
