Responsibilities Include:
- Perform calculations for various aspects of concrete and steel building design
- BIM modelling, data entry, assistance with preparation of construction plans and specifications
- Researching various building code topics
- Providing support to other groups within SDL as business needs dictate
Qualifications:
- Current Civil Engineering graduate student or undergraduate (minimum Junior) in good standing at accredited university with an interest in structures
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of structural engineering
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and basic AutoCAD/Revit skills or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with structurally engineering design and analysis software a plus
