Job summary:
We are seeking motivated and experienced Strength and Conditioning coach interns that are searching for a unique opportunity to work and flourish in the private sector of the Sports Performance industry. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in working with athletes of all ages and abilities. The Sports
Performance coach will be there to learn, assist and lead training groups. This is an opportunity for a coach to be build himself and the company to new heights.
Position Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education or Exercise Science
- Outgoing, motivating and personable with the willingness to learn and continue growing.
- Sports-minded with a strong desire for continual development of leadership skills.
- Enjoys working with athletes of all ages and ability levels.
- Conduct athletic performance assessments and monitor athlete progress as directed by Invicta
- Create S.A.Q. (speed, agility and quickness) and strength training programs; Consult with Director of Sports Performance prior to implementation of protocol.
- Lead classes as directed according to Invicta protocol standards
- Ensure safety and proper use on all performance equipment to all clients during training sessions
- Provide a motivating environment during instruction of classes to help clients work towards performance goals
- Attend to the cleanliness of workspace and overall appearance of Invicta
