Title: Account Executive – Multicultural Marketing Firm

Company/Location: Alhambra, CA (www.cmpgusa.com)

CMPG is an innovative, full-service marketing firm based in Los Angeles and specializing in the Asian-American marketplace. We offer fresh, inspirational perspective on Asian markets, backed by comprehensive strategic planning capabilities, segmented demographic targeting (e.g., Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Asian Indian, Filipino, etc.) and tactical implementation.

Job Responsibilities

The main role of this position is to manage day-to-day marketing and advertising campaign deliverables and client requests. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively assisting with project management based on experience
  • Participating in weekly status meetings, following up on assigned action items and ensuring that all deadlines are met
  • Working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and events.
  • Managing ongoing interview schedules, coordinating with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and scheduling.
  • Communicating with external vendors and media partners to complete assigned projects
  • Conducting light copywriting, reviewing and proofreading advertising materials
  • Facilitating translation requests, ensuring all materials maintain a high standard of accuracy and formal Asian languages.
  • Conducting timely research, compiling competitor reports, and tracking campaign performance.
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned by the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of experience in marketing or advertising
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese/Korean preferred
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze information critically and provide structured solutions.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or other design tools is a plus
  • Experience working with Chinese/Korean social media channels is a plus
  • Experience in any form of creative production (video, print, digital) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Occasional travel may be required
