Career Peers

The UCLA Career Peers, current undergraduate students, are trained to share tailored career advice, networking tips, and internship insights to the undergraduate student population through our Drop-In Sessions, Core Workshop Presentations, and the Internship Lab program. Their unique perspective as undergraduates fosters a comfortable atmosphere, allowing for peer-to-peer assistance. Additionally, they work directly with Career Center Staff, including the Career Education and Industry Relations Teams, to enhance their expertise in addressing the diverse needs of students. The UCLA Career Peers dedicate themselves to equipping students with essential professional skills for success during and after college.

Vyvy Nguyen

Career Peer Intern

Hello everyone! My name is Vyvy, and I’m a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in Global Health. As a returning Career Peer, I’m thrilled to become more involved in the various events, opportunities, and workshops the Career Center provides. I truly enjoy working with my fellow students and look forward to using the skills and knowledge I developed over the years to help them professionally and gain confidence in their career journeys. Additionally, I love networking with others and gaining more knowledge about different career experiences.

My all-time favorite spot on campus is Tongva steps. I love lying on the grass with my picnic blanket while reading a book, painting, taking naps, or simply unwinding. In my free time, I love singing, dancing, journaling, cooking, playing sports, exploring new places, playing games with friends, and enjoying a good cup of Matcha!
