Study Abroad Programs

The UC Education Abroad Program (EAP) offers study abroad programs exclusively for UC students. Most of these programs are academic year long programs and require two years of college level foreign language classes.

For more information about EAP, their academic programs, selection criteria, program costs, and financial assistance, visit www.isop.ucla.edu/eap or go to UCLA, 1105 Hershey Hall, 310.825.4889 or 310.825.4995.

Each Fall quarter, the UCLA Career Center sponsors the UCLA Study Abroad Fair in the Ackerman Ballroom. There will be over 70 organizations on hand representing opportunities in studying and traveling abroad, volunteering and interning abroad, working and teaching abroad, and international scholarships. Programs are available for undergraduate and graduate students, and recent graduates. For more information, click here.

Students can also choose to go through other study abroad programs besides EAP. The UCLA Career Center keeps information and offers individual counseling regarding hundreds of study abroad opportunities. There are programs to most countries in the world and they range in time from one week, for the summer, one quarter, or one year.

You may also want to consider a Summer Study Programs available through the UC Campuses. Check out these links:

To find out more about these study abroad opportunities, contact Eva Walthers, International Programs Counselor, during her drop in hours Monday-Friday, 10 am -1pm and 2 pm - 4 pm.
