Internships France The American Embassy in Paris Internship description: Interns work closely with the staff to provide the key services offered by the office to the American and French business communities. Duties include market research and promotion. Qualifications: Applicants should have a working knowledge of the French language. The position should be of interest to students planning a career in international trade and commerce. Work and education experience are flexible. Compensation/Benefits: unpaid Dates: ongoing Deadline: 3 months before desired internship start date. The French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) (Exchange Visitor Program for American Trainees in France) Internship description: The program offers internships in France in all business fields. US College students and young professionals have an opportunity to enhance their skills from hands-on work experience in France, where they will be exposed to French business and management techniques. Qualifications: American citizen. Age 18-35. The trainee must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have started a professional career. The trainee must have an academic background and /or professional experience in the area of the internship for which he/she is applying. The trainee must have a minimum of two years of college French or the equivalent (good working knowledge). A letter from an accredited university attesting to trainee's fluency in French is required. Compensation/Benefits: Trainees are required to receive a monthly living allowance from the host country. The minimum allowance must not be inferior to the current minimum wage in France (currently about 6,249.67 FF/month). Dates: ongoing Deadline: Preferably four to five months before desired internship start date. Mediatime France (MTF) Internship description: Boulevard is a quality monthly which focuses on French lifestyles, culture, and personalities, published by Mediatime France. Additionally, MTF designs and publishes a range of maps and guides in association with Hamilton Press. All of these publications are in English. (Students with foreign language interests, however, will be reassured to know that we also publish some maps and guides in German, Dutch, and Spanish.) Compensation/Benefits:
