Move your career forward in Washington, D.C.!

Each summer, the UCLA Career Center D.C. Fellows Summer Internship Program supports Bruins from all majors who are eager to build professional skills and contacts by working in the nation’s capital.  Fellows pursue internships with federal or international agencies, elected officials, think tanks, major non-profit groups, and private sector employers.  Since 1966, D.C. Fellows has opened the door to a Washington, D.C. career experience for thousands of Bruins.  The Career Center team welcomes you to learn more and apply.

KEY FACTS AND PROGRAM BENEFITS


  • D.C. Fellows Program is open to all majors and class levels
  • Housing at UC Washington Center (UCDC) is available for up to 20 Bruins
  • Work full-time or part-time for 10-12 weeks
  • Option to earn academic credit through UCLA or UCDC summer coursework
  • A program scholarship of up to $1,000 for fellows who live at UCDC
  • Bruins who receive financial aid may be eligible for a summer aid supplement
  • Priority D.C. Fellows program admission is open on a rolling basis to Bruins with confirmed and accepted summer internship offers in the Washington, D.C. metro area
  • Priority program application deadline is January 26, 2018
