The most important first step you can take is to identify potential employers and submit applications. Bruins who present a confirmed and accepted internship offer by January 26, 2018 will havepriority admission to the D.C. Fellows Program and guaranteed housing at the UC Washington Center.  Other motivated Bruins who have submitted internship applications by January 26, 2018 will have second priority on program admission, housing, and scholarships.

We invite you to apply for the D.C. Fellows 2018 Program by providing:

1.  Your resume.

2.  A confirmed internship offer or a list of ten employer targets.

3. A brief statement (up to one page) describing your goals for the D.C. experience.  Your statement should also confirm whether you are interested in UCDC housing.

Submit these materials to the D.C. Fellows program listing on BruinView > Jobs at career.ucla.edu (keyword search ‘Fellows’). Please note that your resume and other materials simply confirm your D.C. Fellows interest and will not evaluated for program admission; a secured internship offer is your main key to admission.

Plan to attend one of the upcoming D.C. Fellows Workshops to learn more and address all your D.C. questions!

All workshops are hosted at UCLA Career Center, Strathmore Building, 3rd Floor.  Presentations last for 30 minutes with some additional time reserved for follow-up questions.  You can register starting January 9th at BruinView > Workshops. Registration is not required and drop-in guests are welcome!
