Medical School Statistics For UCLA Graduates

The statistical data in the chart below shows an overview of UCLA applicants admitted to U.S. allopathic (M.D.) medical schools. The source of this data and that included in the other charts is the Association of American Medical Schools (AAMC). For further information about the medical school application process, please consult the UCLA Pre-Professional Services Referral Sheet as there are several offices on campus ready to assist you in your journey towards a career in medicine.

For information on Time Line and Additional Medical School Requirements, review the Pre-Health Career Information Sheet on the UCLA Career Center website.

How to use this chart:
Acceptance Ratios are shown by Overall Application GPA and combined score for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) [latest score used in case of multiple test dates]. For example, in the 2010 application year, 19 UCLA seniors applied with a GPA of 3.90 or higher combined with an MCAT score of 35 or higher. Of those 19 applicants, 18 of them (or 95%) were accepted into at least one medical school.
