With the increase of social networking services
such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, the way we interact with others
is radically changing. However, while these sites have made it easier
to professionally network, face-to-face engagement remains a key forerunner
in the career decision-making process. Although the medium used for
career advancement has changed, the basic skills of job searching and
networking have not. In this stimulating program, leaders from the
corporate, academic, and career development fields will give insights
on these issues and offer basic strategies for staying “in the loop”
of an expanding digital job age.
