If Advertising is an art, then Marketing is the business of that art.  Both determine the way people are persuaded to make decisions about almost everything they do in their lives, from buying a tube of toothpaste to purchasing a car, from choosing their medical plan to voting for a president.  This program, featuring a panel of professionals from the arenas of marketing and advertising, will focus on a wide spectrum of media, present current trends and opportunities, and provide a forum on the hiring process.  Among the topics to be explored: agency practices, media organizations, advertising campaigns, and the role of advertising in society and the economy.  Plus our panelists will share their education and work experience and how that led to their careers in Advertising and Marketing.

Speakers include (subject to change):

John Davies, Chief Executive Officer, Davies Public Affairs

Glenn Eisen, Executive Vice President, Guthy-Renker LLC
