Internship Programs
Did you know that,
as a UCLA student, internship opportunities in the Greater Los Angeles area
are available to you during the academic year, as well as during the summer?
You might want to think about taking advantage of these exciting opportunities!
This is your chance to get some quality experience sponsored by the UCLA Career
Center. Research all the possibilities as early as possible and at least one
quarter prior to the time you want to start an internship program.
Paid, unpaid,
and for-credit internships are available in a wide variety of career fields
including law, business, finance, media, entertainment, public relations, engineering,
science, marketing, sales, the arts, education, public affairs, social services,
government, and many more. There are so many exciting possibilities for you
to explore!
To get involved
in a local internship program, check out the following resources:
- Go to BruinView™
, complete a user profile, and upload your resume into the system.
- For help with your
resume, attend a Jump
Start session, refer to the Career Center's Online
Resume Services
, or access resume information in the UCLA
Career Guide.
- Check the Workshop
Schedule each quarter for updates on internship information
sessions.
- Visit a Local Programs
counselor to better understand the application processes, establish
contacts with internship sponsors, and learn about additional internship
opportunities. Drop-in advising is available most Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Thursdays from 9 to 11 A.M. and from 2 to 4 P.M. Half-hour appointments
