UCLA is located in Westwood, approximately ten miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Please note that freeway traffic can be unpredictable so give yourself plenty of time to drive safely and get here with time to spare. IMPORTANT MESSAGES regarding I-405 Freeway construction in the UCLA area.
(1) In planning your visit to UCLA, employer guests are encouraged to check for updates on the ongoing I-405 freeway construction and detours at www.metro.net/projects/I-405 or at twitter.com/I_405.
(2) Daily closures of some I-405 access ramps to and from Wilshire Blvd. will continue through summer 2013. Eastbound Wilshire Blvd. is a frequent route to UCLA. Freeway signage will alert drivers to current ramp closures and direct them to an alternate route, but it is helpful to learn about current conditions in advance using the links above.

From the intersection at Westwood and Wilshire Blvds.
Proceed northbound on Westwood Blvd. going north towards the UCLA campus. Pass Le Conte Avenue and after two stop signs, check in with the parking and information kiosk on the left side.
After you get your parking permit, drive north to the end of the street to the turn-around. Head south past Strathmore and make a right into the driveway of parking structure eight. Drive up the ramp to the roof for parking. There are two large elevators on the east side of the roof. The Career Center is on floors two and three so please take the elevator to floors two or three.
From the intersection at Veteran Ave. and Wilshire Blvd.
Proceed eastbound on Wilshire Blvd. past Veteran Ave. Make a left on Gayley Ave. going north (past Le Conte Ave. and Charles E. Young Drive S.). Make a right on Strathmore Place and a right on Westwood Blvd. Check in with the parking and information kiosk on the left side.

Take Hilgard Ave. south and pass several streets: Wyton Dr., Strathmore Ave., Westholme Ave., Manning Ave. Turn right at Le Conte Ave. and proceed west. At Westwood Plaza, turn right, and proceed north. Pass Le Conte Avenue and after two stop signs, check in with the parking and information kiosk on the left side.

Proceed east on Century Blvd. (approximately one mile) to the 405 San Diego Freeway north. Take the 405 San Diego Freeway north to the Wilshire Blvd. exit and proceed to the Westwood ramp east. From Wilshire Blvd., turn left on Westwood Blvd. and go north onto the campus. Pass Le Conte Avenue and after two stop signs, check in with the parking and information kiosk on the left side.

From the Bob Hope Airport, Burbank (BUR)
Proceed south on Hollywood Way. Turn right on Alameda and drive towards the 134 Freeway. Take the 134 Freeway west to the 101 Ventura Freeway westbound and then proceed to the 405 San Diego Freeway southbound.
Take the 405 San Diego Freeway south to the Wilshire Blvd. exit and proceed east towards Westwood/UCLA. On Wilshire Blvd., turn left on Westwood Blvd. and go north onto the campus. Pass Le Conte Avenue and after two stop signs, check in with the parking and information kiosk on the left side.
