UCSF School of Pharmacy Outreach Weekend

The two-day program was an all-expense paid introduction to the UCSF campus as well as the Pharm D. program. Students from various parts of California were in attendance. Not only did we meet the deans, representatives, faculty and students through workshops and seminars, but we also had the opportunity to interact with them in an intimate setting. This included a campus tour and a dinner at the Faculty Alumni House. We found that the entire campus was extremely welcoming and everyone treated us very well; showing support for our interests and answering any of our questions honestly.

At the end of each day, the participants were able to explore the city's night life and through our time together we found that we shared many common interests besides that of pharmacy. By the end of the weekend, we not only made new friends, but found an environment in which we can pursue our educational goals after UCLA.
