FAST (Fashion And Student Trends) - Arthur Pogosian

Shari: As the Co-Chair of FAST (Fashion And Student Trends, a UCLA student group) and the Executive Fashion Show Coordinator, what do you think is the most challenging part of your position?

Arthur: I feel as though everything that I have done the entire year I have done it out of passion. We started out with less than 5 members, now we are well over 200.

Shari: You're also a talented photographer and make up artist. What influenced you to expand into these areas?

Arthur: When you have an eye of a designer you can be successful in many types of design. You need to know what people want and you have to twist it and make it even more desirable. This is key to design. I have had no training in my ideas or make-up or even photography. I just have visions mostly of what I want to do next.

Shari: FAST is producing a fashion show on Mon. April 21st at 7 p.m. in the Ackerman Ballroom and you are their Executive Fashion Show Coordinator. What can we expect to experience as the audience?

Arthur: I want people to go to this fashion show and really come out thinking, these students really did a professional job. I also want people to enjoy their time at the show.
