Jimmy Campos, CPA, Marcus Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, real estate analyst and consultant, specializing in residential real estate dispositions and acquisitions. Formerly with the accounting firm Rothstein Kass, where he performed audits of clients in the financial services industry (primarily hedge funds, fund of funds, and offshore funds), assisted the tax department in preparing spreadsheets for generating K-1s for fund investors, and mentored new employees and interns. Woodbury University, Burbank CA (BS in Accounting).
Dan W. Delaney, CPA, specialization in taxation, currently a sole practitioner. Background includes primarily research, planning, tax controversy, and tax return preparation in the field of income, estate, and gift taxation. Formerly associated with the national accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath and the local accounting firms of RBZ,LLP and Gumbiner Savett, Inc. Master's in Business Taxation, USC Marshall School of Business. UCLA Alumnus (BA in Economics and Political Science, with emphasis in Accounting).
Michelle A. Escovar, CPA, Roth Bookstein & Zaslow, LLP, performs compliance work for both attest and tax functions, and has a leadership role in the firm’s campus recruiting and university relations program. Background includes preparation and/or review of entity tax returns for private middle market companies in Los Angeles and either audit or review of these companies for compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Industry experience includes manufacturing, service providers, hospitality, real estate and family wealth. UCLA Alumna (BA in Economics, with emphasis in Accounting).
Gregory M. Sprague, CPA, Sprague and Associates, jointly responsible for overseeing executive recruiting activities. Currently supervises a staff of 12 specializing in the placement of permanent accounting and finance professionals. Firm consistently ranked as one of the top three accounting and finance contingency search firms in Los Angeles County. Previously worked as a controller at North Communications and Calstar Real Estate Development; audit supervisor at Silverman, Katz, Fram and Company, LLP (CPA firm); and audit senior at Deloitte & Touche.
